Terror Toad (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a tabletop game publisher based in Lanark, Scotland, United Kingdom.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from us.

 

2. Using our website

By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Return & Refund Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place an order will apply to that order.

 

3. Products

  • We sell physical tabletop games and related items, including board games, card games, and party games.

  • All product descriptions and images are provided in good faith and aim to be accurate.

  • We take care to ensure that all information on our website - including product descriptions, images, prices, and availability - is accurate and truthful to the best of our knowledge at the time it is published. However, as a small independent publisher working with manufacturing and printing partners, occasional errors or changes may occur. We reserve the right to correct mistakes, update information, or withdraw products where necessary. Any changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

  • Colours, packaging, or components may vary slightly due to printing runs, manufacturing processes, or screen displays. Minor cosmetic variations do not constitute faults.

 

4. Prices

  • All prices are shown in GBP (£).

  • Prices include VAT where applicable.

  • Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout.

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but price changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

 

5. Orders & contract formation

  • When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase our products.

  • A legally binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order, including where:

    • a product is out of stock

    • a pricing or listing error has occurred

    • we suspect fraudulent activity

If an order is cancelled after payment, you will receive a full refund.

 

6. Payment

Payments are processed securely via third-party payment providers (such as PayPal).

We do not store or have access to full card details.

Payment must be received in full before an order is dispatched.

 

7. Shipping & delivery

  • We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on the product page or checkout.

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary, particularly for international orders.

  • Once an order has been delivered, responsibility for the goods passes to the customer.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, couriers, customs, or events outside our control.

 

8. International orders

For orders outside the UK:

  • Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees.

  • These charges are non-refundable, even if the item is returned.

  • Return shipping costs for international orders are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.

 

9. Returns, refunds & cancellations

Our Return & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions and sets out:

  • the 30-day returns window

  • eligibility requirements

  • refund and exchange processes

  • responsibility for return shipping costs

This policy operates alongside your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

 

10. Faulty or damaged items

If an item arrives faulty or damaged:

  • Include your order number and photos of the issue where possible

We will offer a replacement or refund in line with your legal rights.

 

11. Wholesale & retailer orders

If you are a retailer purchasing wholesale:

  • Additional terms may apply, including pricing, payment terms, and minimum order quantities

  • These will be agreed separately in writing

 

12. Intellectual property

All content on this website - including game names, artwork, illustrations, rules text, logos, images, and written content - is owned by or licensed to Terror Toad unless stated otherwise.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.

 

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products.

  • Our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the price paid for the product.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability for any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

15. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
